Welcome to my Blog!

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in reading my blog! This entry is a little short but it gives a little understanding to how I came to be a medium and why I love the work that I do!
Mediumship can be a funny thing. Grief is a devastating thing. Grief and mediumship together is like a mystical and magical journey where everything you thought was real IS real and everything you thought was impossible IS possible! This a total new understanding of energy. Energy cannot be terminated, it can only be transferred and so it is with the soul.

I have always had an interest in the paranormal. I had experiences from a very young age and read anything I could get my hands on. Though even with the interest in the paranormal I was not expecting the catapult into the unknown that happened on July 7, 2015. This was the day my 2.5-year-old son, Joey, went into the ICU. Joey was a normal child with a sweet disposition and seemed older than his years. He got sick which started like a virus and he ended up having intractable seizures. He eventually got diagnosed as having FIRES (Febrile-Infection Related Epilepsy Syndrome) which affects ONE in a MILLION normal healthy children causing them to have continuous seizures also known as status epilepticus. The outcome for these children varies from mild (or even in some cases no impairment) to death. Joey passed away on the evening of September 7, 2015. As we were still holding him, after his last breath I could hear him in my right ear. He was once again full of life and renewed with a sense of energy like he had a mission to complete. He brought through this excitement and though I was numb and in shock I heard him say to me, “We will help so many mama. You help the mommies and daddies here and I will help bring the children through.” Little did I know what the future would hold. There is SO MUCH MORE to this story than this but for this first post I want to focus on my very initial spiritual awakening and grief and how they sometimes work together.

A lot of times when you go through a spiritual awakening there is some event that precedes the awakening such as death, an accident, or a major life event. In my case, it lasted over exactly two months and hit its peak with the passing of my son. Those early days of grief I was really numb. I did not want to get out of bed or care for my older daughter or really even be breathing at that point. I was aware of Joey’s energy being by my side and asking me to just go sit in the sun. I did not have to do anything else if I just found a sunny spot. In those very early days there were times when I was literally crawling out of my bed, down the short hallway and into the living room where the sunlight was streaming in the door. In that bright sun light, I felt Joey. It was like receiving a hug from him or feeling him stroking my hair, I could even imagine he was giggling from happiness that I made it. It seemed so unreal to me at the time. The friends, cards, flowers, gifts, are all such a blur from that time. The one gift I will never forget is the one gift that saved me, at a time I did not want to be saved.

Grief is something I will be in for the rest of my life to one extent or another. I am human and want to hold my baby boy, watch him play and learn and see the kind of man he would turn into. Mediumship has made it possible for me to see all of that, just differently, in a different energy form. It is not the same at all but I believe I have a lot more than what most parents whom have lost children do, the ability to be able to still feel him energetically and I would love the opportunity to show others how to do the same.

Misconceptions of Psychic Mediums and How To Find a Reputable One

Today I wanted to cover some misconceptions of what a psychic medium does and share a few tips on how to find a good one!

I do not think it is a shock that psychics and mediumship have a bad name in the media and movies. The theatrics draw attention, which bring ratings. Real world psychic mediums are not all that flashy. They do not walk up to you in public and offer you a reading. There are no fog machines and strobe lights; at best, there may be some essential oils and incense burning.

The truth about what I do and a lot of people I know do, is quite different. I meditate and pray... A LOT!!! I consistently take care of my energy either through prayer, spiritual hygiene, movement, diet or downtime to ensure that I am energetically responsible in order to share my energy with my clients and their loved ones on the other side; which leads me to the first tip!!

1.) Have a mini interview with your potential psychic medium.

Ask your medium questions about their background and knowledge or classes they have taken. You are looking to potentially hire them so make sure they are invested in their craft. A good medium will prefer you tell them NOTHING about yourself as this is THEIR JOB to bring forth the information for the highest evidence and healing for all involved.

2.) Ask specifically about the medium's journey.

This does not need to be a life story but what drew the medium to this spiritual path? Some psychic mediums have experienced a major life event which may give them special insight to a topic you are wanting a reading regarding. For example. in my case I have lost a child. I find that children are drawn to me as I have a little helper on the other side. Not every medium is for every sitter and a medium that has no major life event but was born with the gift, is not necessarily going to be unable to give you evidence of a particular loved one. This being said, in no instance should you demand a specific loved one and a specific sign. All messages are given with love and the highest integrity and believe it or not, spirit knows what you need to hear!

3.) Ask for references if they are not readily online for you.

Most mediums should be able to share some written reviews for you or be able to offer some other type of references. You are paying for a service so why not check up on past experiences?

4.) Be Patient!!

Deciding to seek out a reading is a big decision. Ideally you should look for a medium that holds the time and space for you with reverence and integrity as a reading can be a vulnerable, yet beautifully healing time. There is a lot of excitement when finally making the decision to schedule a reading so do your due diligence before you hand over your heard earned money!
